Governors

Gooseacre Primary School Governing Body is made up of members of the local community, parents, teachers and representatives of Barnsley Education Authority.

Their responsibilities are varied and include staffing, finance and curriculum. The six parent governors are elected from all eligible parents by ballot. The office is held for a period of four years.

If you have any questions about the school, including the curriculum, please address them to the Head Teacher or Governing Body, or refer to the complaints procedure, a copy of which is kept in school.
